Raven, Lizzie, the Martin twins and the Stevens Family

Has any of you watched the show That's so Raven? Or maybe, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody? How about Lizzie Mcguire or Even Stevens?

I did miss seeing these familiar faces of Disney Channel. It was a great time.. a great time indeed, when Disney Channel showcased the talents of Raven-SymonĂ© (as Raven Baxter), Anneliese van der Pol (as Chelsea Daniels), Brenda Song (as London Tipton), Ashley Tisdale (as Maddie Fitzpatrick), Hilary Duff (as Lizzie McGuire), Christy Romano (as Ren Stevens), Kyle Massey (as Corey Baxter), Orlando Brown (as Eddie Thomas), Dylan Sprouse (as Zack Martin), Cole Sprouse (as Cody Martin) and Shia LaBeouf (as Louis Stevens) in these four hilarious and witty teen comedy shows.

That's so Raven aired from January 17, 2003 to November 10, 2007. It follows the story of Raven Baxter, a teenager with psychic powers and is able to see glimpses of the future. At times, she will try to change the future (with the help of her friends, Eddie and Chelsea, or her little brother, Corey) by stopping her visions from coming true. These usually results in her, ending up in amusingly hilarious situations. This show is definitely one of the funniest shows I've seen.

The Suite Life of Zack and Cody aired March 18, 2005 with 4 million viewers, making it the most successful premiere for Disney Channel in 2005. The tv series follows the funny and crazy antics of twin brothers, Zack and Cody Martin, who live in the Tipton Hotel with their mother, Carey, who is also the hotel's lounge singer. It also follows the lives of hotel heiress, London Tipton, the candy-counter girl Maddie Fitzpatrick and the strict hotel manager, Mr. Moseby. The show is full of laughs, as the mischievous twins try to turn the hotel into a playground. It aired its show finale on September 1, 2008 (with the sequel series, The Suite Life on Deck).

Lizzie McGuire premiered on January 12, 2001 and ended February 14, 2004. The show centers on the life of the teenager, Lizzie, who really wants to fit in and be one of the popular kids in school, but is often contradicted by her animated alter ego. She attends school with her two best friends, Miranda and Gordo and often falls victim to pranks of his mischevous little brother, Matt.

Even Stevens aired from June 17, 2000, to June 13, 2003. It follows the life of the Stevens family in Sacramento, California. Steve Steven is a lawyer, Eileen Stevens is a state Senator, Donald "Donnie" Stevens is the athletic big brother, Renee "Ren" Stevens is the perfectionist older sister and Louis Anthony Stevens (Shia LaBeouf) is the full-of-mischief little brother.

In my opinion, these are four of the best television series ever aired on Disney Channel. :)

  1. I miss the old Disney shows.
They had actual plot and were so kid-friendly, unlike the kids shows out there now.

  2. Although I got to watch very limited shows of this nature, I did really enjoy even stevens and lizzie Mcguire. Lizzie because of how they combined cartoon and live action. Even Stevens because of how ridiculous the plotlines were.

    1. Haha yeah, the animated alter ego. I love her, too..

I love Even Stevens because of the constant bickering of the two, Ren and Lou. But in the end, they still make up and be cool again. It's pretty obvious that they care for each other as brother and sister. :D Plus, Shia is totally adorable as a little kid. Goofy, even but still adorable. Hehe..

  4. I remember watching Even Stevens and Lizzie Mcguire. I also remember thinking that I probably shouldn't be enjoying them so much. It's a shame they were so short but a show about teenagers has to have a short run I guess.

  10. i loved the lizzie mcguire movie. :D

i just have to say present Disney shows are not that great and children-friendly anymore. i even have to check on what my little brother would watch before i give him the consent to continue watching it. what he sees on tv affects her behavior, i have observed. tsk.
