G is for Grease.

Grease.

I remember watching Grease when I was about 12 years old. I think it was my mom who bought the VCD. We watched it, and from then on, John Travolta became one of my childhood crushes. A few years later, I bought a sing-along cd so that I could "sing along" and dance with it. Yeah.. I danced. But only inside my room. Hah!

Grease is the love story of Danny Zuko and Sandy Olsen. They feel in love in the summer, not knowing that they'd be attending the same high school. It's a musical about teens in love in the 50's. The movie became a big hit, and naturally, also its official soundtrack.

The lines of the song were a kinda... weird and and maybe just a bit.. pervy.. ? Yeah.. maybe? "Did you get very far? Did she put up a fight? Tell me more." I mean.. What the heck, man? One should never kiss and tell. (shrugs)  But okay.. I gotta admit, the tune and beat are catchy. (sings along)

  3. I admit, I have never seen Grease ... and have no real interest in watching it. I don't know exactly why, of course. I do however, enjoy the music!

  5. Ahh I really loved Grease. I think I preferred Grease 2 though because I'm a sucker for a guy on a bike. Plus he did some pretty cool stuff on it.
