What do you think?

Hello again. ♥

I'm still here at my brother's house, playing with my nieces and taking care of our old gandma. And it is of the same reasons that I can't stay online long enough to have long chats with my Twitter/Facebook friends, and make bloghops and drop comments on my favorite blogs. My two nieces fight over who would sit on my lap, while I face the laptop, so it's better to NOT turn it on. LOL.. The only time I can go online is when both of them are asleep. ♥

Anyway, I watched some movies yesterday. First on the list was "Friends with Benefits". It was good. I like Mila's role there - very witty, funny and sexy. Next, I watched "Source Code". Okay, I've got admit I watched it twice before I began to understand the plot. Haha! Talk about slow. Oh well.. only human. The last movie I watched before dozing off last night was "He's Just Not That Into You". Great movie. Have any of you watched it? It's a romantic comedy set in Baltimore, and tells the story about reading/misreading and understanding human behavior, specifically in dating. Some of the lines in the movie just get stuck in my head. They seem a wee bit... chauvinistic, but they do make sense. I'm not sure if I agree with all of them, though.

Here's some of the lines..

Alex: And the rule is this: If a guy doesn't call you, he doesn't wanna call you.
Gigi: Always?
Alex: Yeah, always.

Alex: So trust me when I say if a guy is treating you like he doesn't give a shit... he genuinely doesn't give a shit. No exceptions.

Alex: If a guy gives you his phone number instead of taking yours, he's not interested. And also, if a guy wants to see you, believe me, he will see you.

Alex: Run.
Gigi: So, what, now I'm just supposed to run from every guy who doesn't like me?
Alex: Yeah.

Alex: Oh, the spark thing is bullshit. Guys invented the spark so they could not call and treat you kind of badly and keep you guessing. Then convince you that that anxiety and fear that just develops naturally, was actually just a spark. And you guys all buy it. You eat it up and you love it. You love it because you feed off that drama. You all love that drama. Because you all thrive on the drama.

Niel: I don't understand why people wanna get married.
Ben: They don't.
Niel: They don't?
Ben: No. No, no guy actually wants to get married. And if they do, all they're really thinking about? All the women they're gonna miss out on.

Ben: You're a dick if you date a girl for too long, and don't marry her. But you marry her, and then you're an asshole for marrying her before you're ready. Shit - I don't know.

Well, what do you think?

P.S.
To see the full script, click here.. or you could just watch the movie, or read the book. ☺ Have a great day! ♥

  26. I haven’t watched Source Code but I’d like to check, see how many time I need to watch it before it sinks in. Also to find out if I am slower than you are. Haha.. I watched “He’s not that into you” ages ago and I believe that the movie made sense. Sometimes girls over analyze everything when it comes to understanding guys. Haha.. love this post. Sorry wasn’t able to read it right way my internet connection, well, only works when it feels like it.
