Mike Tompkins (Beatbox)

I was browsing the internet last night, and I came upon this awesome video of Mike Tompkins on YouTube. I'm pretty sure some of you have already seen his videos. Mike is making A Capella covers, using the sounds made by his voice and mouth, and is sharing his videos through his YouTube channel. I've always been fascinated with beatboxing.. So I played the video.. and another one.. and another one. Wow. This guy's amazing!

The "Piano", "Piano Harmony" and "Synth Lines" are the best.. ☺

The "Snare" and "Beatbox" are awesome!

Watch out for the "Snare" and "Synth Lines".. ☺

Pretty cool, right? ☺

If you wanna see more of his videos, you could subscribe to his YouTube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/pbpproductions. Also, check out his website.. www.mike-tompkins.com. 5. That is such an exceptional talent, at saka uso.. I'm amazed lalo na kasi hindi lang 2 or 3 sounds and naproproduce nya. He has taken beatboxing to a higher level. Galing, minus the spitting and the saliva produced. hehehe..

    1. Haha! Yes, naisip ko din yan. Siguro daming laway ang naibuga nya sa microphone nya. LOL. Pero grabe, ang galing lang talaga. Ilang sounds din ang ginawa. :) I really love the Snare drum sounds. :D

  8. I'm not a big fan of beatboxing, or the songs he's done there, but I will admit he did good work, and he put a lot of effort into it.

    1. ah, no worries Mark. We have different opinion about things.. I respect that. :)

Yeah, good work, right? And the effort is very "visible". It is hard work to make sounds and videos like that. :D

  12. Heehee, the violins.
I've been thinking about doing something similar for quite some time, but just never got to it because I don't even have a mic to record my stuff with, and I have no idea where to start either.

    1. Yeah, the violins are great! :D

Hmm, "where to start".. that's usually the problem. It's very hard to find the perfect WHEN and WHERE to begin. I hope you could do so in the near future, and then upload some vids on your blog for us to watch.. And it would be great to see your face, finally! hehe.. What say you? :D
