I was browsing the internet last night, and I came upon this awesome video of Mike Tompkins on YouTube. I'm pretty sure some of you have already seen his videos. Mike is making A Capella covers, using the sounds made by his voice and mouth, and is sharing his videos through his YouTube channel. I've always been fascinated with beatboxing.. So I played the video.. and another one.. and another one. Wow. This guy's amazing!
The "Snare" and "Beatbox" are awesome!
Watch out for the "Snare" and "Synth Lines".. ☺
Pretty cool, right? ☺

Haha, oo nga. Natatawa din ako sa mukha nya habang gumagawa sya ng sounds.. but the music, it's really awesome. Galing lang!

ReplyDeleteYay! Thanks! Done adding your link, as well Orange. :)

ReplyDeleteMagaling pong talaga! :D
Deletewow. what more can i say?
ReplyDeleteWhat more pa nga, diba.. Talentado! :)
DeleteThat is such an exceptional talent, at saka uso.. I'm amazed lalo na kasi hindi lang 2 or 3 sounds and naproproduce nya. He has taken beatboxing to a higher level. Galing, minus the spitting and the saliva produced. hehehe..
ReplyDeleteHaha! Yes, naisip ko din yan. Siguro daming laway ang naibuga nya sa microphone nya. LOL. Pero grabe, ang galing lang talaga. Ilang sounds din ang ginawa. :) I really love the Snare drum sounds. :D
DeleteAkala ko at first when I saw the vid, madami siyang twins. Haha. Ang sarap nya panoorin. ;)
ReplyDeleteHihi.. ako nga din, ilang ulit kong pinanood. Nakakaaliw.. :D
DeleteOh yeah! I remember watching his videos before. May kahusayan si Kuya. Di na kailangan ng musical instruments. Hahaha. Ganto na pala ang comment box ng blogger? Cool!
ReplyDeleteHaha! Tipid din sa kuryente, Joshua. hihi.. Galing-galing nya. :D
DeleteYep. Nilagyan na nila ng comment threading feature.. Okay naman sya, kaso it only works kapag nasa embedded location yung comment box.. Blah!
I'm not a big fan of beatboxing, or the songs he's done there, but I will admit he did good work, and he put a lot of effort into it.
ReplyDeleteah, no worries Mark. We have different opinion about things.. I respect that. :)
DeleteYeah, good work, right? And the effort is very "visible". It is hard work to make sounds and videos like that. :D
grabi ang talent..
ReplyDeleteUu nga po mommy.. :)
Deleteoh yeah, i came across him a while back. thankyou for reminding me of his awesomeness! :D
Hehe.. Ang exciting nga ng labstory mo. Hehe..
Heehee, the violins.
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking about doing something similar for quite some time, but just never got to it because I don't even have a mic to record my stuff with, and I have no idea where to start either.
Yeah, the violins are great! :D
DeleteHmm, "where to start".. that's usually the problem. It's very hard to find the perfect WHEN and WHERE to begin. I hope you could do so in the near future, and then upload some vids on your blog for us to watch.. And it would be great to see your face, finally! hehe.. What say you? :D
gusto ko to beat box!!
ReplyDeleteAko rin po. Yay! hehehe..
